Sam Taylor is a musician, composer, audio engineer, and multimedia artist from New Jersey. Recording under the name PSYCH METS, Taylor throws together elements of psych, garage, post-punk, noise rock, and experimental music to create an all-around psychedelic fever dream. With songs described as The Brian Jonestown Massacre trying their hand at covering a Bruce Springsteen classic with a Sonic Youth-esque vibe to the surrounding noise. Taylor's music is ever evolving; angular and ramshackle while ostensibly poppy.

Sam also works as the Public Programming Operations Specialist at the New York Botanical Garden putting on events, concerts, educational programming and curating playlists for exhibitions.
